The Alpine Rescue Team is one of only a handful of accredited mountain rescue team in Colorado. They specialize in rescue services in hard-to-reach areas and conditions. The team performed over 100 missions last year, accounting for over 22,000 man hours of time. The team is comprised of unpaid professionals who volunteer their time to rescue people in alpine situations free of charge. In addition the team trains for scenarios several times a year.
